On the occasion of commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, a significant "Hunan Cuisine Delights Russia" campaign has been grandly launched. On August 21, the highly anticipated "Peace Banquet Featuring Hunan Cuisine" was held in Russia. Led by Wang Junshou, Vice Governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, and supported by numerous organizations including Hunan Daily and the Provincial Department of Commerce, the delegation assembled a formidable promotional contingent.

The event attracted distinguished guests including leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and the Mayor of Moscow, alongside culinary luminaries such as Hunan cuisine masters Xu Dabin, Ouyang Hailin, and Xie Beiwen. Renowned Hunan cuisine enterprises including Xu's Seafood and Beijing Yan House, as well as leading pre-made dish brands like Pengji Fang and Xu Master, also participated in the gathering.

At the banquet, Shuncan's Signature Braised Duck made a remarkable debut. This dish involves an intricate preparation process - from meticulous duck selection to multiple complex cooking stages, each step embodies the chefs' dedication and craftsmanship to deliver authentic flavors. Its unique sweet-and-spicy profile permeates every morsel, with bones infused with aromatic richness. The dish immediately became the centerpiece, earning unanimous acclaim from both Chinese and international guests.

Also featured were classic Hunan dishes including Steamed Fish Head with Chopped Peppers, Braised Pork Belly, Lamb Stew with Radish, and Grandmother's Pickled Vegetables, alongside innovative creations like Steamed Chicken with Dried Pepper and Steamed Pork Ribs with Hunan Lotus Seeds. Together with the signature braised duck, these offerings constituted a vibrant Hunan culinary spectacle, enabling Russian guests to experience the distinctive charm of Hunan cuisine and the profound heritage of Chinese gastronomic culture.

Furthermore, on August 23, the promotional delegation hosted a "Hunan Pre-made Cuisine Tasting" event in St. Petersburg, presenting over ten meticulously selected pre-made dishes. This initiative not only advances Hunan cuisine's global outreach but also showcases the innovation and tradition inherent in Chinese culinary arts to the world.
